What started 15 years ago as a part-time, at-home endeavor by our founder, Amber Brown, has grown into a thriving educational hub. Amber Brown quickly realized that her passion for mentoring could do more than help students pass exams; it could shape the future of the nursing profession.
Today, I.V. League Tutoring has expanded into a spacious office campus in League City, Texas, where we continue to bridge the gap between student learning and nurse thinking through expert nursing tutoring and mentorship.
Amber Brown is a registered nurse and pediatric nurse practitioner who earned her BSN from UTMB School of Nursing in 2005 and her MSN in 2010. Amber started I.V. League Tutoring after working as an adjunct professor and clinical instructor at an esteemed university for 5 years. What started as an at-home hobby has blossomed into an educational enterprise, educating nursing students all over the world.
She has worked in the field of pediatrics for over 25 years and in the nursing education field for 18 years. She has worked in triage, in-patient pediatric hospital setting, ran the Advocacy Center medical program which performed sexual abuse exams for the pediatric population, and has been featured on podcasts such as Nursepreneurs and the Dr. Nurse Mama Show.
Amber keeps her practice current by starting her own pediatric clinic, Parkside Pediatrics, which serves the pediatric population in her community.
